Carol Mukuka Mwansa
Founder & Director
A leading healthcare expert and founder of Health Resolve Zambia, with over a decade of experience in clinical leadership and public health.
Carol Mukuka Mwansa is a seasoned Zambian healthcare professional and HIV/AIDS expert from Mpika District, Northern Province. She holds a Master’s degree in HIV/AIDS Management from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and brings over a decade of experience in nursing and healthcare leadership. At Marybegg Medical Centre, she served in several critical roles including Dialysis Unit Leader, Shift Coordinator, Night Supervisor, and Admissions Unit Leader. As a Case Manager at the institution’s head office, she led initiatives focused on COVID-19, non-communicable diseases, malaria, and cancer.Carol is also a passionate researcher with interests in HIV/AIDS disclosure among pregnant women, health systems strengthening, and health economics. In 2022, she founded Health Resolve Zambia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to managing and preventing non-communicable diseases at the community level through free screenings and chronic disease support services. Her commitment to healthcare advancement extends to academia, with studies at Monash University, Rusangu University, and her ongoing PhD in Public Management at Chreso University.

Dr. Juliet Nyasulu
Technical Adviser
A public health expert with over 25 years’ experience strengthening health systems across sub-Saharan Africa.
Dr. Juliet Nyasulu is a seasoned public health professional with over 25 years of experience in strengthening health systems across sub-Saharan Africa, including South Africa, Malawi, and Mozambique. She holds a PhD in Public Health with a focus on quality assurance and systems strengthening. Her research interests center on improving access to essential health services, and she currently leads several research projects addressing HIV access under the 95-95-95 strategy, maintaining maternal and child health during the COVID-19 pandemic, and trends in immunization coverage—supported by the Medical Research Council (MRC) and National Research Fund (NRF).

Rhoda Sakala
Senior Counselor
Rhoda is a compassionate midwife and the lead counselor at Health Resolve Zambia. She oversees counseling services and trains volunteers to provide psychosocial support, especially for mental health and trauma-related cases. Her experience on the frontlines of maternal and community health brings vital emotional care to the organization’s holistic health approach.
Healing begins not just with medicine, but with being heard and supported.

Dr. Matthews Kaluba
Chaplain
A theologian with a PhD in leadership studies, Dr. Kaluba provides spiritual guidance and pastoral mentorship within the organization. His role bridges the gap between faith and medicine, ensuring that communities receive health information grounded in both compassion and cultural understanding. He actively advocates for informed health decisions among church communities.
Spiritual care and medical care must walk hand in hand to heal both body and soul.

Mulongoti Mwape
Patients' Rights & Quality Care Lead
A registered nurse, Mulongoti is an advocate for patient rights and quality healthcare. She ensures that all services delivered by Health Resolve Zambia uphold dignity, safety, and respect for individuals. Her work promotes ethical care practices and enhances trust between health workers and the community.

Kimberly Nkandu
Program Manager
As a Clinical Officer General, Kimberly leads and coordinates outreach programs across various communities. She ensures that field activities, from screenings to mentorship, are effectively implemented and responsive to local health needs. Her clinical background allows her to manage both operational logistics and health service delivery with precision.
A well-coordinated program brings care closer to those who need it most.

Melody Chileshe
Secretary
A dedicated teacher and community mobilizer, Melody manages documentation, reporting, and the coordination of school-based health programs. Her passion lies in reaching children and families with preventive education that fosters healthier lifestyles. Through her role, she ensures that the organization’s impact is both measurable and sustainable across schools and community networks.
